Two Governors in One Day.
Maui played host to our state's Chief Executive last Friday (more details below). And, another Governor - all the way from Ilocos Norte, the Phillipines, was also warmly greeted on the Valley Isle.


Happy New Year !?! Fiscal Year 2010 dawned on Wednesday, July 1st. The sun wasn't the only thing "going up" that morning.


Furloughs and Vetoes and Taxes, Oh My! Governor Linda Lingle came to Maui to preside over the installation of new directors for the Maui Chamber of Commerce. But her remarks focused on her unprecedented furlough order - and the 65 pending vetoes on her desk. And the Courts have something to say about that, too.


Mabuhay! Governor Michael Marcos-Keon makes his first visit to Maui - bringing 26 members of his proivincial government with him. A colorful reception greeted the entourage and Maui TV News was there. .
