This Week on Maui TV News:

Biz is Bad. What Do We Do? Resorts are seeing occupancy and arrivals at historic lows. What - if anything - can be done about it? We ask the experts.

Shane 'All-Star' Victorino? Sure it has a nice ring to it, but will it fly in Philly? All four of Hawaii's mayors think so, and they've asked for our help to help convince the world.

Also this week on Maui TV News:

Hana Highway Closures. For the first time since two severe landslides closed the historic highway at West Wailuaiki, crews have a dry spell that may last long enough to fix what's wrong. But, they'll have to close the road - a lot - to do it.

What is "Normal?" It apparently means something different to the National Weather Serevice than it does to everyone else. Maui County's rainfall has reached new lows...but should those be the new "normals?"

Below "Normal" is a good thing when referring to water use. Despite bone dry rain gages, water use is still at or below normal.

Also this week on Maui TV News, Shane Victorino gets some help from Hawaii's top elected officials - but doesn't seem to need their help when he's at the plate. Between his hitting and their "clout," Maui has a new All-Star.

And from an island-wide paint contest to the height of Obon season to delicious - yet- invasive meals...we've got the details for you this week in Coming Attractions on Maui TV News.
