This Week on Maui TV News:

Complicated Clunking. The federal "Cash for Clunkers" program gets a reprieve through the end of September. The program, however, is meeting with a wide range of "success" on Maui.

Taking Off. Prices to park at Kahului Airport are about to head upward - for the first time in a long time. Meanwhile, a Maui entrepreneur has an idea that you might like even better than leaving your car in the hot airport sun.

Going - and Saving - Green. Maui's first tour of the U.S. Green Building Council demonstrated more than energy alternatives. It also demonstrated that the cost of self-sufficiency is about half of what it used to be.

Also this week on Maui TV News:

Fixin' the Dock at the Bay. Now that huge plans to reshape Kahului Harbor for more cruise ships and the Superferry are kaput, it's time to resume the promise of repairing and improving the boat ramp at the Kahului Small Boat Harbor. They started this week.

Hammer Time.
All we can say is - if you weren't there, you really missed something! The first-ever "Hammer Time" event was a monstrous success. We'll introduce you to the new reigning "Mister Hammer 2009" - someone you may already know.

Maui 'Wedding Day." Some of Maui's most accomplished professionals collaborated to create a wedding so spectacular that the TNT Network is showing it this weekend. Set your VCR, DVR or TiVO and see the best Maui's wedding pros have to offer.

Also this week on Maui TV News, forget "revenge." For Hawaiian Canoe Club - and Napili Canoe Club - victory is sweet. And that sweet taste was also there for Kihei and Lae Ula O Kai. We've got details from state paddling.

And, whether it's First Friday, Bell Bottoms or Ziggy Marley you crave...you can have them all this week in Maui County. We've got the details for you this week in Coming Attractions on Maui TV News.
