(intro-FF)

J: ALOHA EVERYONE AND THANK YOU FOR TUNING IN TO MAUI TV NEWS. YOU'RE WATCHING MAUI'S EXCLUSIVE ONLINE AND TELEVISION NEWSCAST - IN HIGH DEFINITION. I'M JEFF KING. IT'S NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE: NEIGHBOR ISLAND CONFIRMATION CEREMONIES TO USHER IN THE TERM OF A NEW GOVERNOR. SATURDAY, IT HAPPENED ON MAUI .

(TAKE AMERCROMBIE PKG) NA01: "Well I think we have to re-establish a sense of confidence in people. And tyransportation issues, whether it's the Superferry or roads on Maui - like the bypass. O reasonable fares for airline travel between the islands. Whatever it is, we're going to come at it, we're going to deal with it. We're going to work at it in an expeditious and collaborative manner with everybody all across the state."

(ON-CAM TAG) THE NEIGHBOR ISLAND TOUR WRAPPED WUP WITH STOPS ON THE BIG ISLAND AND KAUA'I THIS WEEK. NOW IT'S TIME TO HEAD BACK TO THE STATE'S CAPITOL AND GET TO WORK.

(KIMOKEO)(PiP-KIMOKEO)

J: HE, TOO, HAS BEEN A CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE - MOUNTING AN UNSUCCESSFUL BID FOR THE SOUTH MAUI SEAT ON THE COUNTY COUNCIL A FEW YEARS AGO. BUT, HE'S ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED AND INVOLVED MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH MAUI COMMUNITY - AND ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE KAI.

THIS WEEK, LEONARD "KIMOKEO" KAPAHULEHUA TURNS 63. TO CELEBRATE, HE'D LIKE BIRTHDAY GIFTS FROM AS MANY PEOPLE AS WILL GIVE THEM - AND EVERY PENNY WILL BE GIVEN AWAY.

(TAHE KIMOKEO PKG) THE ANCIENT FISHPOND AT KO'IE'IE IS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 500 AND 2000 YEARS OLD. IT'S NOT ONLY ONE OF THE BEST-PRESERVED OF ITS KIND, BUT ITS STURDY - AS THESE TIME-LAPSE VIDEO SCENES SHOW DURING THE FEBRUARY TSUNAMI THIS YEAR. KIMOKEO KAPAHULEHUA WANTES TO BE SURE THE POND IS THERE FOREVER. HE'S OUT THERE WITH VOLUNTEERS METICULOUSLY STACKING ROCKS TO REINFORCE THIS WORKING EXAMPLE OF AQUACULTURE. AND IF YOU HAVE 63 DOLLARS TO DONATE TO THE CAUSE - HIS EFFORTS WILL HELP KEEP THE POND STURDY FOR ANOTHER 500TO 2000 YEARS.

(ON-CAM TAG) YOU CAN STILL DONATE TO THE CAMPAIGN TO COMPLETE THE RESTORATION OF KO'IE'IE LOKO I'A - THE ANCIENT FISHPOND ADJACENT TO THE HUMPBACK WHALE SANCTUARY AND MENEHUNE SHORES CONDOMINIUMS. FOR DETAILS, GO TO MAUI TV NEWS-DOT-COM AND FOLLOW THE LINK TO THIS WEEK'S STORIES.

(ECLIPSE)(PiP-RED MOON)

J: QUIETLY, IT HAS SNUCK UP ON US - BUT ACCORDING TO STAR CHARTS, THIS MONDAY NIGHT WILL FEATURE A FULL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - AND WE HERE IN HAWAI'I HAVE A FRONT ROW SEAT.

(TAKE ECLIPSE PKG) THE LAST TIME MAUI EXPERIENCED A TOTAL ECLIPSE WAS IN SUMMER OF 2007. THIS TIME YOU WON'T HAVE TO STAY UP QUITE AS LATE. THE PEAK OF THE EVENT WILL ONLY BE ABOUT TWO HOURS AFTER SUNDOWN. HOWEVER, PARTS OF MAUI WILL BE BLOCKED FROM THE VIEW BY HALEAKALA AS THE MOON RISES WHILE IT'S BEING SHADOWED BY THE SUN.

(ON-CAM TAG) MONDAY NIGHT THERE WILL BE A MOON-GAZING PARTY AT THE SUMMIT OF HALEAKALA. THE VIEWS WILL CERTAINLY CAUSE CHICKEN-SKIN...AND SO WILL THE WEATHER. A LITTLE LATER IN THIS NEWSCAST WE'LL HAVE DETAILS ON THE ECLIPSE PARTY SET FOR MONDAY NIGHT AT THE SUMMIT OF THE HOUSE OF THE SUN.

(A-TOSS-B)

J: UP NEXT ON MAUI TV NEWS, IT'S OUR FINAL "GOT CHOICE? THINK LOCAL!" REPORT OF 20-010 AND WE TRAVEL THE FARTHEST WE'VE TRAVELLED...TO ONE OF MAUI'S OLDEST BUSINESSES. HASEGAWA'S GENERAL STORE IS IN THE SPOTLIGHT WHEN WE COME BACK. AND NOT ONE - BUT TWO OF YOUR FAVORITE BRADY BUNCH STARS ARE ON MAUI THIS WEEK. WE'LL WELCOME BARRY WILLIAMS - A.K.A. GREG BRADY TO THE STUDIO WHEN MAUI TV NEWS CONTINUES.

(B-BLOCK)

(GCTL)(PiP-GCTL LOGO)

J: THE ROOF IS RUSTY. THERE ARE ONLY A FEW PARKING PLACES AND THE PLACE IS OLD. AND ALL OF THOSE ADD TO THE CHARM OF HASEGAWA GENERAL STORE. WHAT KEEPS A FAMILY BUSINESS GOING FOR MORE THAN A CENTURY? WE FIND OUT IN THIS WEEK'S "GOT CHOICE? THINK LOCAL!" REPORT.

(TAKE GCTL PKG) (SONG) THE PLAYBACK QUALITY IS AWFUL - BUT THE SELECTION IS TREMENDOUS. IF EVER THERE WAS A GENERAL STOR WITH AN INVENTORY THAT'S, WELL, GENERAL, IT'S HASEGAWA'S GENERAL STORE. LOCATED ON THE MAIN ROAD IN HANA, THE STORE USED TO BE A FEW HUNDRED YARDS DOWN THE ROAD UNTIL A FIRE DESTROYED IT IN THE LATE 80S. NO THEY OCCUPY THE OLD HANA THEATER. OWNER NEIL HASEGAWA GAVE US A BRIEF HISTORY ON HOW THE STORE HAS EVOLVED ACROSS AN ANTIRE CENTURY.

Neil Hasegawa, co-Owner, Hasegawa General Store

NH01: "Hana's economy was sugar back in the 1900s snd that's why my great grandfather and great grand uncle came - they used to work on the sugar plantation. And it has now evolved into more of a tourist-based economy."

THE ORIGINAL PICTURES OF THE 1946 TSUNAMI LINE THE WALL AT HASEGAWA'S - SIGNED BY A T. HASEGAWA.

NH02: " Yeah, that was my grandfather. H was down at Hana Bay - snapping away pictures. He was one of the ferw photographers in Hana that actually deleoped their own fillm. He got some gresat pictures of the title wave - down at Hamoa, Waikoloa, Hana Bay and all over."

HASEGAWA'S IS THE STUFF OF LEGEND. IN THE MID 60'S, J. AKUHEAD PUPULE PLAYED THE SONG ON HIS HONOLULU MORNING RADIO SHOW - AND THE REST - AS THEY SAY - IS HISTORY...AND IT SPREAD AROUND THE WORLD.

NH03: "Yea, we get people from Jsapan. There was a halau that came - brought their ukuleles and sang the song in front of the store. There was another person that was from Texas, and her halau was learning the song. It's incredible how blessed we've been."

ALONG WITH THE BLESSING IS THE CHALLENGE OF STAYING IN BUSINESS IN THE 21ST CENTURY.

NH04: "I was telling my dad - the first hundred years, I think, was the easy one, this next hundred is going to be what tests us. There's a lot of big box stores here in Hawai'i - in Maui. I think government, too, they need to play a role to help us. We're trying to build a new store doen the road. Hopefully this year we can break ground."

AND NEIL AND HIS FATHER, HARRY WERE HONORED WITH THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT THIS YEAR'S SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS. AND HASSEGAWA'S GOT CHOICE THINK LOCAL SPECIAL IS THE STORE ITSELF. NOWHERE ELSE ON MAUI WILL YOU FIND SUCH A LOCAL, LOCAL SELECTION. IN FACT, NEIL SAYS THAT'S ONE OF THE KEYS TO THEIR SUCCESS.

NH05: "Being in business here in Hana is - to me - a little bit different than being in business in Kahului. The decisions you make here in hana affect a lot of people - and you get to hear about it. So - first-hand, if you make a decision and people are not happy with it, people are going to come in and say, Neil, know what? Why did you do this or why did you do that?'"

WELL, IT'S PRETTY CLEAR THAT THE DECISIONS THEY'VE MADE AT HASEGAWA'S FOR THE PAST CENTURY HAVE BEEN PRETTY GOOD ONES. A GOOD REMINDER REMINDER THAT WHEN YOU GOT CHOICE...THINK LOCAL.

(ON-CAM TAG) THERE ARE MORE THAN 200 MAUI COUNTY BUSINESSES OFFERING SPECIAL DEALS AND DISCOUNTS TO LOCALS AND VISITORS ALIKE, JUST GO TO MAUI-COUNTY-THINK-LOCAL-DOT-COM. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND PRINT VALUABLE COUPONS AND GET SOME GREAT GIFT IDEAS JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

(BARRY WILLIAMS)(PiP-GREG BRADY)

J: FOR YEARS, IT WAS "MARCIA, MARCIA, MARCIA,"' UNLESS YOU HAPPENED TO BE A TEENAGED GIRL IN THE 60S AND 70S...THEN IT WAS "GREG, GREG, GREG!"

(TAKE BARRY WILLIAMS pKG) BARRY WILLIAMS HAS AGED VERY WELL. HARD TO BELIEVE IT'S BEEN MORE THAN 40 YEARS SINCE WE FIRST HEARD THE STORY OF THE LOVELY LADY...BARRY STILL HAS THE TIKI THAT WAS THE SUBJECT OF A CURSE IN THE VERY BRADY CHRISTMAS...BUT NOW IT BRINGS HIM GOOD LUCK, AND HE'S ON MAUI FOR THE NEXT SIX WEEKS FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER IN THE STORY OF A MAN NAMED BRADY...and in this story, he stars in a lu'au - REALLY.

Barry Williams, Actor

BW01: "I'm enthralled with the culture and the heritage and the history of Hawai'i. And in my dreams and fantasies, I've always wanted to become closer to it - to become an actual 'honorary Hawaiian.' It's through this lu'au that I hope to achieve that goal and dream."

MAUI HAS HAD AN ONGOING REMINDER OF THE GREAT BRADY DAYS WITH THE FREQUENT VISITS BY MARCIA BRADY, HERSELF, MAUREEN MCCORMICK. MAUREEN'S ASSOCIATION WITH THE BEST BUDDIES PROGRAM HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS BOOST TO THE ASSOCIATION'S EFFORT ON MAUI. IN FACT, THIS SATURDAY, GREG AND MARCIA BRADY WILL REUNITE - ONCE AGAIN - AT THE SHOPS AT WAILEA FOR AN EVENT CALLED "LIFE IS SWEET" AND YOU'RE INVITED. WE'VE GOT THE DETAILS A LITTLE LATER IN THIS NEWSCAST.

WILLIAMS DOESN'T REALLY MIND BEING GREG BRADY ALL THIS TIME...AND ALL THIS TIME, HAS BEEN A LONG TIME.

BW02: "It's had a pretty remarkable history - the Brady Bunch has. It's been on, non-stop, in each of over five decades - the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and in the new millenium. It's never been off the air. We did 119 episodes and each one has aired over 160,000 times. Multiple countries. There have been nine reunions. There have been five different series made out of it. So there's been a lot of 'Bradiness.'"///

YUP...BRADINESS. A CULTURAL ACHIECEMENT WHEN A SHOW IS SO POPULAR, THEY EVEN HAVE THEIR OWN NOUN. AND IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH, WHILE BARRY IS ON MAUI HOSTING THE KA'ANAPALI BEACH CLUB LU'AU, MAUI PIZZA COMPANY HAS CREATED "THE GREG BRADY PIZZA." SO, TRY ONE FOR LUNCH...WHICH RHYMES WITH "HUNCH." AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT RHYMES WITH.

(ON-CAM TAG) AND A REMINDER THAT THIS SATURDAY FROM THREE UNTIL 6, BARRY WILL REUNITE WITH MAUREEN MCCORMICK...YES, GREG AND MARCIA BRADY, FOR "LIFE IS SWEET," A FUNDRAISER FOR THE BEST BUDDIES PROGRAM - AT THE SHOPS AT WAILEA. DESSERTS, CELEBRITIES, AND A GREAT CAUSE. WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE. FOR DETAILS, CLICK ON THE LINK TO THIS WEEK'S STORIES AT MAUITVNEWS-DOT-COM.

(NATIVE CHRISTMAS TREES) (PiP-OHIA WITH BULB)

J: ONCE AGAIN, JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR ' O TANNENBAUM A NON-INVASIVE SPECIES OF O TANNENBAUM.

"PLANTING CHRISTMAS 20-10" FEATURES LIVING, NATIVE TREES AS ALTERNATIVE TO DYING EVERGREENS FROM TH MAINLAND. IT'S ONE PART COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE AND ONE PART NATIVE HABITAT EDUCATION AND AWARENESS.

(FF-CG-VO) CHOOSE FROM OHIA AND OTHER MAUI TREES, DECORATE THEM FOR THE SEASON, THEN PLANT THEM IN YOUR YARD WITH VISIONS OF SUGARPLUMS - NOT TO MENTION REPEATING THE PROCESS NEXT YEAR.

(ON-CAM ) PRICES START AS LOW AS 60 DOLLARS AND EVERY PENNY OF PROFIT GOES TO THE EXTREMELY WORTHWHILE PLANT-A-WISH PROGRAM THAT IS WORKING TO PLANT LOCALLY NATIVE TREES IN ALL 50 STATES. IF YOU'D LIKE TO SEE THE SELECTION AND FIND OUT HOW TO ORDER, WE AN HELP WITH THAT. CLICK ON THE LINK TO THIS WEEK'S STORIES AT MAUITVNEWS-DOT-COM.

(B-TOSS-C)

J: UP NEXT ON MAUI TV NEWS, THE NUMBERS WERE DOWN A BIT FOR THE 20-10 RUNNING OF THE HONOLULU MARATHON. BUT THAT DIDN'T SLOW DOWN MAUI FINISHERS. NOR DID IT SLOW DOWN GLADYS BURRILL. WE'LL HAVE HER STORY WHEN WE COME BACK. AND FANTASTIC. OR, "FANTASTICKS." NO MATTER HOW YOU SAY IT, PAUL JANES-BROWN LIKES IT. HIS REVIEW IS UP NEXT IN CURTAIN CALL WHEN MAUI TV NEWS CONTINUES.

(C-BLOCK)

J: CHECKING SPORTS, CONGRATULATIONS TO MAUI'S PAUL HOPWOOD FOR HIS 95TH PLACE FINISH IN SUNDAY'S HONOLULU MARATHON. THE MAKAWAO SPEEDSTER RANKED 11TH IN THE MEN 45 TO 49 AGE GROUP. THE FASTEST WOMAN FROM MAUI WAS CHANTAL LI, WHO RAN THE MUGGY COURSE IN 3 HOURS AND 49 MINUTES, FINISHING 25TH IN HER AGE CATEGORY OF WOMEN 35 TO 39. MAY FAVORITE STORY FROM THE MARATHON WAS THE RACE RUN BY GLADYS BURRILL. GLADYS HAS RUN THE HONOLULU MARATHON FOUR TIMES IN THE PAST SIX YEARS. THIS YEAR SHE MISSED THE OLD RECORD IN HER AGE GROUP BY MORE THAN AN HOUR - BUT HER FINISHING TIME OF NINE HOURS AND 53 MINUTES WAS PRETTY QUICK...FOR SOMEBODY WHO IS 92 YEARS OLD.

(CURTAIN CALL)(PiP-PJB)

J: CHANCES ARE IF YOU WERE IN A PLAY IN HIGH SCHOOL IT WAS THE FANTASTICKS, THE LONGEST RUNNING MUSICAL IN THE WORLD IS CURRENTLY IN REVIVAL OFF BROADWAY AT THE JERRY OHRBACH THEATER, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO TO NEW YORK TO SEE IT, JUST HELE ON OVER TO AZEKA MAKAI SHOPPING CENTER TO THE PRO ARTS PLAYHOUSE. PAUL JANES BROWN DID AND HE HAS THIS REVIEW FOR CURTAIN CALL.

PJB: IT'S NOT HYPERBOLE TO SAY THAT PRO ARTS' FANTASTICKS IS BETTER THAN IT'S NAME. THIS MUSICAL BY HARVEY SCHWARTZ AND TOM JONES PLAYED FOR MORE THAN 17,000 PERFORMANCES AT THE TINY SULLIVAN STREET PLAYHOUSE IN GREENWICH VILLAGE AND DIRECTOR DOUG KENDRICK HAS CAPTURED THE SAME FEELING OF INTIMACY, EXCITEMENT AND EXCELLENCE OF THOSE PRODUCTIONS. IT’S PURE, POLISHED, PERFECTION, PRO ARTS HAS SET A NEW STANDARD WITH THIS PRODUCTION OF FANTASTICKS.

THE PLAY IS A LOVE STORY ABOUT AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE THAT HAS BEEN COVERED UP SO THAT THE BETROTHED WILL NOT KNOW THAT THEIR FATHERS (THERE ARE NO MOTHERS IN THE SHOW) HAVE CONTRIVED A FEUD TO MAKE THEM WANT EACH OTHER EVEN THOUGH, OR PERHAPS BECAUSE THEY THINK THEIR FATHERS HATE EACH OTHER. THE CONTRIVANCE GETS OUT OF HAND WHEN THE FATHERS THINK UP THE COUP DE GRAS. THEY HIRE BANDITS TO ATTEMPT TO RAPE (AS IN ABDUCT NOT SEXUALLY ASSAULT AS THE WORD HAS COME TO MEAN TODAY) AND WHEN THE TWO FIND OUT ABOUT HOW THEY HAVE BEEN TRICKED THEY REACT LIKE TYPICAL CHILDREN AND REBEL AGAINST THEIR PARENTS WISHES, BREAK OFF THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND GO THEIR SEPARATE WAYS TO SEE WHAT THE WORLD IS ABOUT. I WON’T TELL YOU THE ENDING…YOU’LL HAVE TO GO AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELVES.

DOUG KENDRICK HAS TO BE COMMENDED FOR HIS COURAGE TO PRESENT THE HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU PAY. THE AUTHORS COWTOWED TO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND PRODUCED AN ALTERNATIVE DIALOUGE AND LYRICS TO PROTECT THOSE WHO MIGHT BE OFFENDED BY THE EVOLUTION OF THE LANGUAGE, BUT RAPE COMES FROM THE LATIN RAPTIO WHICH MEANS “TO ABDUCT” THE RAPE OF SABINE WOMEN, A SUBJECT THAT HAS INSPIRED ARTISTS FROM RUEBENS TO PICASSO, DEPICTS NOT SEXUAL ASSAULT BUT WOMEN BEING CARRIED OFF BY ROMAN LEGIONAIRES. SO WHEN EL GALLO, PLAYED BRILLIANTLY BY BOB WILLS, WHO SEEMS TO BE BORN TO PLAY THIS PART, SINGS ABOUT THE VENETIAN, GOTHIC OR DRUNKEN RAPES IT IS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF A MENU OF POSSIBLE STYLES OF KIDNAPPING DEPENDING UPON WHAT ONE PAYS. KENDRICK DID BOW TO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS BY CHANGING THE RAPE BALLET TO THE ABDUCTION.

THE STRENGTH OF THIS PLAY IS NOT JUST THE MUSIC, BUT THE WAY IN WHICH THE CHARACTERS WORK SEAMLESSLY AND FLAWLESSLY TOGETHER. ENSEMBLE IS A PHRASE THAT GETS BANDIED ABOUT, BUT THE FANTASTICKS IS A PLAY FOR WHICH THE TERM MAY HAVE BEEN INVENTED. THIS IS A CAST OF STARS AND KENDRICK AGAIN HAS TO BE COMMENDED FOR PUTTING TOGETHER SUCH A REMARKABLE ASSEMBLAGE OF PERFORMERS.

BOTH OF THE ACTORS PLAYING LUISA AND MATT HAVE PLAYED THESE ROLES BEFORE AND ALTHOUGH BOTH LEIGHANNA LOCKE AND TOM ALTHOUSE ARE NOT NEAR THE AGES OF THEIR CHARACTERS, THE STRENGTH OF BOOK IS SUCH THAT THE RELATIONSHIPS ARE SO FINELY RENDERED THAT THESE PARTS COULD BE PLAYED BY SENIOR CITIZENS AND THEY WOULD STILL WORK. LOCKE IS A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN WITH AN AWARD-WINNING VOICE. SHE WON THE STATE-WIDE ART SONG COMPETITION A FEW YEARS BACK. AND AS FINE A YOUNG INGENUE AS YOU MAY FIND ANYWHERE. SHE PRESENTS A TRUTHFUL, YOUTHFUL, EXUBERANT AND CHARMING NAIVETE IN THE FIRST ACT AND A DEVILISH, MISCHIEVOUS, GULLIBLE YOUNG WOMAN IN THE SECOND.

TOM ALTHOUSE CONTINUES HIS STREAK OF STRONG LEADING MEN. HE IS AN INVENTIVE COMIC ACTOR WHO IS COURAGEOUS AND WITHOUT GUILE. IT’S SELDOM THAT WE SEE TRUTH PORTRAYED.

AS THE TWO FATHERS, WE HAVE THE UBIQUITOUS DALE BUTTON AS BELLOMY, WHO CONTIUOUSLY PERFORMS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL AND THE OTHER HALF OF THE PRO ARTS TEAM JONATHAN LEHMAN WHOSE HUCKLEBEE IS MARVELOUSLY DELIVERED. THEIR DUETS ON NEVER SAY NO AND PLANT A RADISH WERE TERRIFFIC. CREDIT ASSISTANT DIRECTOR YUMI NUMATA WITH PUTTING TOGETHER THE FINE DANCE NUMBERS IN THIS SHOW AND ANN DURHAM FOR THE EXCELLENT MUSICAL DIRECTION.

THERE ARE THREE OTHER ACTORS IN THE SHOW AND THEY NEED TO BE APPLAUDED AS WELL. THE OLD ACTOR HENRY IS THE PART THAT IS THE MOST FUN FOR ANY ACTOR BECAUSE IT’S AN OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT UPON ONE’S CAREER WHILE DOING IT. THE ACTOR GETS TO SPIT OUT A LITTLE SHAKESPEARE WHILE GOING AS FAR AS ONE CAN. THERE IS NO WAY TO OVERPLAY THE PART. JOHN PETERSON SHOWS US AN OLD ACTOR WHO IS THE EPITOME OF A HAS BEEN OR PERHAPS A NEVER WAS. HIS HENRY IS AT ONCE PATHETIC AND HILARIOUS, NO MEAN FEAT.

KALANI WHITFORD, AS MORTIMER, THE MAN WHO DIES, HAS RAISED THE LEVEL OF DYING TO OPERATIC DIMENSIONS! HIS PROTRACTED DEATH SCENE IS WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION IT IS A BRILLIANT PIECE OF THEATER. FINALLY, THE MUTE PLAYED BY JAMES NATIVIDAD IS THE GLUE THAT HOLDS THIS WHOLE THING TOGETHER.

CARO WALKER AND KATHLEEN SCHULZ HAVE DONE THEIR USUAL STELLAR JOBS ON THE SET AND COSTUMES RESPECTIVELY AND LAURA BLOOM FARBER IS AN EXCELLENT COMPLEMENT TO ANN DURHAM’S KEYBOARD FILLING THE ROOM WITH WONDEROUS ACCOMPANIMENT.

PRO ARTS' FANTASTICKS COULD RUN FOREVER! IT'S A SHOW YOU CAN SEE OVER AND OVER. IT NEVER GETS TIRED. SO LET’S KEEP IT RUNNING.

THAT’S CURTAIN CALL FOR THIS WEEK, I’M PAUL JANES-BROWN, A HUI HOU AND GO SEE LIVE ARTISTS AND SUPPORT THE GREAT WORK THEY DO MAKING OUR LIVES BETTER, STAY TUNED FOR COMING ATTRACTIONS UP NEXT RIGHT AFTER THESE MESSAGES.

(D-BLOCK)
