J: BACK TO THE SEA. A HALF-DOZEN PRECIOUS HONU STARTED A WHOLE NEW LIFE IN A GREAT BIG WORLD THIS WEEK AND WE GOT TO BE THERE TO SEE THEM OFF. AND, BEING HERE IS GETTING POPULAR AGAIN AS VISITORS NUMBERS CLIMB AND HOTEL OCCUPANCY NUMBERS DO, TOO.

(ON-CAM) THOSE ARE TWO OF OUR TOP STORIES THIS WEEK ON MAUI TV NEWS - PLUS WE'VE GOT AN UPDATE ON SOME IMPORTANT NEW LAWS UNDER REVIEW BY THE MAUI COUNTY COUNCIL. IN SPORTS, KING KEKAULIKE HAS A GOOD START TO THEIR 20-10 FOOTBALL CAMPAIGN. IN CURTAIN CALL, PAUL JANES-BROWN CHECKS TO SEE IF - AFTER 6,000 SHOWS - WARREN AND ANNABELL STILL HAVE THAT MAGIC. WE'VE GOT ALL THAT PLUS COMING ATTRACTIONS AND MORE THIS WEEK ON MAUI TV NEWS.

(intro-FF)

J: ALOHA EVERYONE. AND THANK YOU FOR TUNING IN TO MAUI TV NEWS I'M JEFF KING - AND YOU'RE WATCHING MAUI'S EXCLUSIVE ONLINE AND TELEVISION NEWSCAST - IN HIGH DEFINITION. BACK HOME - TO A PLACE THEY'VE NEVER BEEN BEFORE. SIX JUVENILE HONU ARE NOW SWIMMING THE SEAS AFTER SPENDING THE FIRST TWO YEARS OF THEIR LIVES AT MAUI OCEAN CENTER.

(TAKE HONU PKG) IT'S LIKE A BIRTHDAY - BUT EVEN BIGGER. THESE SIX TURTLES - SIMPLY MARKED A THROUGH F FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS OF THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, ARE HEADING OUT ON THE LONGEST BOATRIDE OF THEIR LIVES - TOWARD THE LONGEST SWIM OF THEIR LIVES. JOING THEM ON THEIR MAIDEN VOYAGE TOWARD THEIR LIFE-LONG VOYAGE ARE STAFF THAT RAISED THEM FROM HATCHLINGS AT MAUI OCEAN CENTER - ALONG WITH CREW AND OCEAN EXPERTS FROM PACIFIC WHALE FOLUNDATION - AND 25 EXTREMELY BLESSED YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN FROM KIHEI C HARTER SCHOOL.

HONU - GREEN SEA TURTLES - AIR-BREATHING REPTILES THAT ARE ON THE THREATENED SPECIES LIST - BUT TODAY, THEIR NUMBERS ARE GROWING BY SIX. THE M ON EACH SHELL IS MERELY THE NOTATION THAT THEY ARE FROM MAUI. THE OTHER LETTERS A THROUGH F, HAS JUST BEEN TO TELL THEM APART FROM EACH OTHER AT FEEDING TIME OR WEIGN-IN TIME...BUT, FOR MAUI OCEAN CENTER STAFF MEMBERS, THESE HONU ARE MUCH MORE THAN A THROUGH F - THEY EACH HAVE REAL NAMES - NAMES THAT THOSE WHO'VE RAISED THEM SAY FIT THEM PERFECTLY.

Nadine Suyama, Aquarist, Maui Ocean Center

"Turtle A is Kai'a. Turtle B is Kai mana. Turtle C is Na Lani. Turtle D is Kupanaha. Turtle E is Kili and Turtle F is Lu'upo'o."

SINCE IT'S GRAND OPENING IN 1998, JOHN GORMAN HAS BEEN CURATOR AT MAUI OCEAN CENTER. OVERT HOSE 12 YEARS ABOUT 40 HONU HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO THEIR NATIVE KAI. IN ADDITION TO THESE SIX JUVENILES, THERE ARE ANOTHER DOZEN BACK AT THE OCEAN CENTER WHO WILL GET TO ENJOY THIS RIDE ONE DAY.

John Gorman, Curator, Maui Ocean Center

JG01:"So we have - basically - three batches of turtles: Hatchlings, newly arrived - coming today. Guys that are heading out today to the ocean that are just now two years old - they were June 17th two years ago and a group of one year-olds that are still resident at Maui Ocean center."

THE TURTLES ARE ACTUALLY BORN - OR, HATCHED IF YOU WILL - ON AN O'AHU BEACH AT SEA LIFE PARK. OVER THE YEARS, THEY'VE RAISED A LOT OF KEIKI HONU. THE ELDER HONU THERE ARE VERY PROLIFIC - AND THE SPECIES THROUGH THIS NATIONAL MARINE FISHERIES SERVICE-SANCTIONED PROGRAM - HAS BEEN BENEFITTTING IN RESPECTABLE NUMBERS - FOR ABOUT A HALF-CENTURY. THERE ARE 10 MOMS AND FIVE DADS AT SEA LIFE PARK - AND GET A LOAD OF THE OUTPUT.

JG02: "They are now, obviously of reproductive age - close to 50 years old. These animals are reproducing regualrly and they're actually hatching out between 200 and 800 hatchlings a season. Some of this depends - the nest - on how deep the sand is, sometimes the fertility of the eggs can be questionable but generally between 200 and 800 hatchlings. The vast majority are tagged and instantly released into the ocean that day or the second day."

BUT FROM THOSE THOUSANDS OF HATCHLINGS ACROSS THE DECADES, A FEW BECOME PAMPERED GUESTS AT PLACES LIKE MAUI OCEAN CENTER - AND THE TURTLE LAGOON IS ONE OF THE FAVORITE STOPS FOR VISITORS OF ALL AGES. THEY SAY TURTLES RETURN TO THE BEACH WHERE THEY WERE HATCHED - BUT THE SEA LIFE PARK PROGRAM HAS YET TO HAVEA TURTLE RETURN TO NEST THERE.

OCEAN CENTER GENERAL MANAGER KATE ZOLEZZI HAS BEEN OUT ON THREE SUCH RELEASE MISSIONS - AND SAYS IT TUGS AT HEAR HEART A BIT. SHE ALSO SAYS, DESPITE THE SIZE OF THE VAST DEEP BLUE SEA, THESE LITTLE GUYS DO GET SPOTTED AGAIN - AND IF YOU SEE ONE, THE OCEAN CENTER WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN AND WHERE.

Kate Zolezzi, GM, Maui Ocean Center

KZ01: "Well, actually, yes, we have and we get a lot of reports from people who snorkel in the area. And when they're first released, we mark their shells with a "M" for Maui and A, B, C, D, E, F. So if you're out snorkeling and you see these turtles, we'd love to know about - just give the Ocean center a call at 270-7000."

Pulama Kauffman, Aesha Akahi, Gabbie Blackwell - KARE KIHEI CHARTER SCHOOL STUDENTS - AND THIS IS THEIR CLASSROOM...SO WHERE ARE THE SCIENCE BOOKS?

GB01: "Science is always outdoors and we don't have any science books. It's always hands-on and Google is like out text book."

AND NOT SURPRISINGLY, AFTER AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS - ALL THREE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK AS SEA CREATURES - AESA AS A HONU AND PULAMA AND GABBY - DOLPHINS. AND THE WHOLE EVENT IS A COMMUNITY WIN-WIN-WIN PARTNERSHIP. PACIFIC WHALE FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TRACY JONES NAMED THE KEY PLAYERS

Tracy Jones, Exec. Dir., Pacific Whale Foundation

TJ01: "Pacific Whale Foundation has donated the vessel and the crew. Maui Ocean Center is hosting the event and Maui Oil Company has donated the fuel for the trip."//
tj02: "It's a total win. It's actually one of those perfect days where community groups come together for the common purpose of the preservation of our marine environment - and that's something Pacific Whale Foundation strives to effect through our research foundation and education programs and in partnership with our science program supporting the Kihei Charter TEAMS School."

THE BLESSING OF EACH HONU LEFT US ALL WITH CHICKEN SKIN...AND WHILE THEY WAITED THEIR TURN TO ENTER THEIR NEW WORLD, THERE WAS EVEN A LAUGH OR TWO...TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WATCHED IT WAS A HUGE SPOKE IN THE CIRCLE OF LIFE. FOR THE HONU...IT WAS A CHANCE TO DO WHAT COMES NATURALLY.

AFTER THE BLESSING, THE RELEASE, COUNTLESS PHOTOS AND MORE THAN A LITLE SUNSCREEN - IT WAS BACK TO MA'ALAEA. FOR HONU AND FOR THEIR EARTH-BOUND STEWARDS, TODAY WAS AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS IT GETS.

(ON-CAM TAG) THE HONU ARE TAGGED FOR IDENTIFICATION - BUT ARE NOT FITTED WITH ANY KIND OF TRANSMITTER OR TRACKING DEVICE. IF YOU'D LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE HATCH AND RELEASE PROGRAM AT MAUI OCEAN CENTER, GO TO MAUITVNEWS-DOT-COM MAND FOLLOW THE LINK TO THIS WEEK'S STORIES.

(AQUARIUM BILL)(PiP-YELLOW TANG)

J: THIS WEEK THE NMAUI COUNTY COUNCIL VOTED - FOR THE SECOND TIME - ON A BILL THAT WOULD REGULATE HOW - AND EVEN IF - REEF FISH CAN BE COLLECTED FOR DISPLAY IN AQUARIUMS.

(vo) UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED ON IT'S SECOND AND FINAL READING, THE MAUI COUNTY COUNCIL APPROVED A MEASURE INTRODUCED BY MEMBER WAYNISHIKI THAT WILL REQUIRE LICENSING AND OVERSIGHT FOR PEOPLE WHO COLLECT FISH FOR SALE.THAT WILL EXCLUDE PEOPLE WHO COLLECT JUST A FEW FISH FOR THEIR HOME AQUARIUMS, AND IT LEAVES OUT PEOPLE WHO FISH FOR FOOD, ERADICATE INVASIVE SPECIESOR COLLECT FISH FOR KOI PONDS. THE IDEA OF THE MEASAURE TO STOP THE WHOLESALE HERDING OF THOUSANDS OF REEF FISH FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF BAGGING THEM AND SHIPPING OFF TO HOME AQUARIUMS AROUND THE WORLD.

(ON-CAM TAG) A SECOND BILL RELATED TO THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF COLLECTED FISH - INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER MIKE MOLINA - IS STILL IN THE EARLY STAGES. COUNCILMEMBERS, LAST MONTH, ASKED SUPPORTS OF BOTH SIDES OF THE ISSUE TO GET TOGETHER AND TRY TO AGREE ON SOME LANGAUGE THAT WOULD MAKE ANY BILL ENFORCEABLE - AND, HOPEFULLY, GET THE TWO SIDES CLOSER TOGETHER.

(HOTEL OCCUPANCY)(PiP-HOTEL)

J: AND THE BEAUTIFUL SEA THAT SURROUNDS US IS JUST ONE OF THE THINGS THAT BRINGS MILLIONS TO VISIT MAUI EVERY YEAR. AS ARRIVALS CONTINUE TO CREEP BACK UP FOLLOWING MISERABLE NUMBERS FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, HOTEL OCCUPANY RATES ARE BACK ON THE MEND AS WELL. BUT - THE INCREASE COMES AT A PRICE - OR PERHAPS MORE SPECIFICALLY - AT A DISCOUNT.

BEFORE THE RECESSION BEGAN TO EMPTY HOTELS, RESORTS AND BEACHES IN 2008, MAUI HOTELS WERE SELDOM LESS THAN 60 PERCENT FILLED. A YEAR LATER 60 PERCENT OCCUPANCY WOULD HAVE BEEN A DREAM COME TRUE FOR LOTS OF PLACES. NOW THE NUMBERS ARE REBOUNDING. FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 20-10, MAUI HOTEL OCCUPANCY WAS BACK UP TO 68-POINT-THREE PERCENT. BUT TO GET THERE, MOST HOTELS AND RESORTS HAVE HAD TO DISCOUNT THEIR RATES - AN AVERAGE OF SEVEN PERCENT.

(VO) BY NOW YOU'VE PROBABLY HEARD THAT VISITOR STATISTICS SURGED IN THE MONTH OF JULY WITH ALL ISLANDS SEEING INCREASES IN ARRIVALS AND VISITOR SPENDING. ON MAUI, THE INCREASE IS THE RESULT OF A DELICATE BALANCE BETWEEN THE INEVITABLE RETURN OF CUSTOMERS AND THE BOTTOM LINE NEED TO GET THEM HERE SOONER BY DISCOUNTING. ONE INDUSTRY EXECUTIVE EXPLAINED THE LOGIC - AND GAVE US HER PREDICTION ABOUT HOW LONG THESE TOO-GOOD-TO-PASS-UP DEALS MIGHT LAST.

Carol Reimann, Exec. Dir., Maui Hotel and Lodging Association

CR01: "Discounting is a necessary evil when the economy is soft and competition is stiff. Maui has fared so well because it's always been a favorite spot for vacationers - but also because the properties knew that they had to do something to bring business back. I expect the deepest discounting to end with high season in December."

(on-cam) MAUI'S HOTEL OCCUPANCY RATE REBOUNDED TO 68.3 PERCENT FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 20-10. ONLY O'AHU FARED BETTER. BY CONTRAST THE BIG ISLAND - WHERE DISCOUNTS WERE MINIMAL AT BEST HAS REMAINED AT AN OCCUPANCY LEVEL OF BARELY MORE THAN 56 PERCENT.

(ON-CAM TAG) BY CONTRAST, ISLANDS WHERE THE DISCOUNTS HAVEN'T BEEN AS TERMPTING TO VISITORS HAVE ALSO RESULTED IN STILL-EMPTY ROOMS. ON THE BIG ISLAND, DISCOUNTS OF JUST A FEW DOLLARS A DAY HAVE RESULTED IN AVERAGE OCCUPANCY RATES OF JUST MORE THAN 55 PERCENT. O'AHU HAS BEEN BOUNCING BACK BEST - WITH OCCUPANCY RATES OF 75 PERCENT FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THIS YEAR COMPARED TO THE SAME PERIOD IN 2009.

(A TOSS B)

J: COMING UP NEXT ON MAUI TV NEWS, WITH THE PRIMARY JUST THREE WEEKS AWAY, CAMPAIGN TALK IS GETTING EDGY. WE CAUGHT UP WITH ONE OF THE MEN RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR WHO SAYS HIS OPPONENT IS DOWNRIGHT NASTY. AND, AND THERE ARE TWO NEW CAPTAINS AT THE MAUI FIRE DEPARTMENT, WE'LL INTRODUCE YOU - AND THE 20-10 CENSUS IS WINDUP DOWN AS WORKERS REACH OUT TO THE REMAINING HOLD-OUTS JUST ONE MORE TIME. THOSE STORIES AND MORE WHEN MAUI TV NEWS CONTINUES.

(B-BLOCK)

(HANNEMANN)(PiP-HANNEMANN)

J: THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS ARE JUST THREE WEEKS AWAY. DESPITE VOTER REGISTRATION NEARING RECORD HIGHS, VOTER TURNOUT IN PRIMARIES HAS BEEN ABYSMAL. SOME 110 CANDIDATES FOR OFFICES IN COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL ELECTIONS IN HAWAI'I WILL BE WHITTLED DOWN TO ABOUT HALF THAT MANY FOR THE GENERAL ELKECTION ON NOVEMBER SECOND. THIS WEEK ONE OF THE MEN RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR SAID HIS PRIMARY OPPONENT HAS STOOPED TO NEW LOWS IN CAMPAIGNING.

(TAKE MUFI VO/SOT)

(ON-CAM TAG) THIS WEEK FORMER CONGRESSMAN ED CASE ANNOUNCED HIS SUPPORT FOR NEIL ABERCROMBIE, HANNEMANN'S OPPONENT FOR THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDACY. ONE OF THE TWO WILL FACE REPUBLICAN LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR DUKE AIONA IN THE NOVEMBER ELECTION.

(FIRE CAPTAINS)(PiP-MFD LOGO)

J: THIS WEEK THE MAUI FIRE DEPARTMENT ACTUALLY HAD A FEW DAYS WHEN THEY WEREN'T BUSY FIGHTING FIRES, SO THEY TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO ANNOUNCE THE PROMOTION OF TWO OF THEIR OWN.

(FF-CG-VO) NOW HE'S CAPTAIN NORMAN CAMPOS. THE 23-YEAR VETERAN OF THE MAUI FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS SERVED IN WAILUKU AND MOLOKAI - AS WELL AS TWO STINTS IN KIHEI - WHERE HE CURRENTLY SERVES. AND FIRE CHIEF JEFF MURRAY ALSO ANNOUNCED THAT GUY DANLEY HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF CAPTAIN. DANLEY HAS BEEN WITH THE M-F-D SINCE 1992, HAVING SERVED IN WAILUKU, KAHULUI AND - WITH HIS PROMOTION IS MOVING TO THE FILE STATION AT NAPILI. CAPTAIN DANLEY IS A HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN AND A WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING EXPERT.

(ON-CAM) CHIEF MURRAY PRAISED EACH OF THEM MEN FOR THEIR DEDICATION TO THE JOB AND SAYS HE HAS THE GREATES CONFIDENCE IN EACH OF THEM AS BOTH FIREFIGHTERS AND AS LEADERS.

(CENSUS)(PiP-CENSUS 2010)

J: ALMOST FINISHED. THE 20-10 CENSUS WILL TAKE ONE FINAL CRACK AT REACHING THE NEARLY 4,000 HAWAI'I HOUSEHOLDS THAT HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE CALL TO BE COUNTED.

(FF-CG-VO) ON MAUI THERE ARE 800 HOUSEHOLDS THAT CENSUS WORKERS WILL TRY TO MAKE CONTACT WITH. THE BIGGEST BATCH OF NO-SHOWS IS ON THE BIG ISLAND AT 15 HUNDRED AND 75. FOURTEEN HUNDRED MORE FORMS NEED TO BE COMPLETED ON O'AHU. KAUA'I HAD THE HIGHEST PARTICIPATION AND ONLY 175 HOUSEHOLDS THERE NEED TO BE VERIFIED.

(ON-CAM) SOME 200 PART-TIME CENSUS WORKERS HAVE BEEN RETAINED TO FINISH THE JOB. OVERALL, CENSUS OFFICIALS SAY THE 20-10 COUNT HAS BEEN EFFICIENT - COMING US 22 PERCENT UNDER BUDGET. THE FINAL RESULTS WON'T BE KNOWN UNTIL LATER THIS YEAR.

(B-TOSS-C)

J: UP NEXT IN SPORTS, THEY TRAVELLED THOUSANDS OF MILES TO MAUI FOR A FOOTBALL GAME - BUT THE FIGHTERS FROM KWANSEI JAPAN FACED A FIRED UP AND READY KING KEKAULIKE SQUAD. WE'LL HAVE RESULTS UP NEXT., AND - IN CURTAIN CALL - PAUL JANES BROWN GETS UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL TO SEE IF THERE'S STILL MAGIC IN WARREN AND ANNABELL'S SHOW IN LAHAINA. THAT, PLUS COMING ATTRACTIONS AND MORE WHEN WE COME BACK.

(C-BLOCK)

J: CHECKING SPORTS, MAUI INTERSCHOLASTIC LEAGUE TEAMS CONTINUE TO DO WELL IN PRE-SEASON ACTION. SATURDAY NIGHT VISITORS TREKKED UPCOUNTRY TO NA ALI'I STADIUM - ALL THE WAY FROM KWANSEI, JAPAN. THEIR HOSTS WERE CORDIAL - BUT NOT GIVING. KING KEKAULIKE DEFEATED THE KWANSEI GAKUIN FIGHTERS BY A FINBAL SCORE OF 15 TO 10 IN FRONT OF A CROWD OF ABOUT 500 IN PUKALANI. UP NEXT FOR NA ALI'I IS THEIR SEASON OPENER AGAINST LAHAINALUNA SATURDAY NIGHT AT WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM AT 7 P.M. THE 2010 M-I-L SEASON KICKES OFF - OFFICIALLY - FRIDAY NIGHT AT WAR MEMORIAL WHEN MAUI HIGH TAKES ON THE WARRIORS OF KAMEHAMEHA, MAUI. KICKOFF IS AT 7.

(CURTAIN CALL)(PiP - PJB)

J: NOW IN IT’S ELEVENTH YEAR, WARREN GIBSON, ONE OF THE WORLD’S GREAT SLEIGHT OF HAND MAGICIANS HAS PERFORMED CLOSE TO 6,000 SHOWS AT HIS INTIMATE THEATER IN LAHAINA, PAUL JANES-BROWN VISITED TO SEE WHAT KEEPS THIS SHOW PACKING THEM IN…

PJB: AFTER ALL THIS TIME YOU WOULD EXPECT SOME SIGN OF FATIGUE OR BURN OUT TO SET IN AT WARREN & ANNABELLES MAGIC SHOW. THINK ABOUT IT, WARREN GIBSON DOES THE SHOW TWICE EACH NIGHT FOR SIX NIGHTS, MON - SATURDAY. JUST LIKE OUR MAKER, WARREN RESTS ON THE SEVENTH DAY. HOWEVER, WHAT I SAW, WAS A CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME AND LOVING EVERY MOMENT THAT HE IS ON.

WARREN’S LOVE FOR WHAT HE DOES IS THE KEY TO THE AUDIENCE’S ENJOYMENT OF THIS SHOW. THAT AND THE FACT HIS SLEIGHT OF HAND CLOSE UP MAGIC IS SIMPLY ASTONISHING. THE INTIMATE HOUSE HOLDS ONLY 78 PERSONS SO IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE AT A BIG HOUSE PARTY. ONE OF THE KEYS TO HIS SHOW AND THE ENTIRE WARREN & ANNABELLE EXPERIENCE IS AUDIENCE INVOLVEMENT.

THIS BEGINS FROM THE MOMENT YOU REGISTER AND STEP INTO THE SECRET ENTRANCE, WHERE YOU ARE GREETED BY ANNABELLE WHO RIDDLES YOU INTO THE CORRECT KEY THAT OPENS THE DOOR TO THE DINING ROOM/MUSIC PARLOR.

ONCE INSIDE THE COMFORTABLE VICTORIAN STYLE SALON THE ENTERTAINMENT CONTINUES WITH A WIDE ARRAY OF FRUIT AND UMBRELLA LADEN LIBATIONS, EXCELLENT PU PU AND OF COURSE, ANNABELLE, THE RESIDENT GHOST, WHO WILL PLAY ANY TUNE YOU MAY WANT TO HEAR.

THE MISTRESS OF CEREMONIES THE NIGHT WE WERE THERE WAS JOEY WANKE, A COMELY QUEENS NATIVE WHO HAS ADOPTED A COMFORTABLE ISLAND STYLE WITHOUT LOSING HER CHARMING AND DISTINCTIVE NEW YAWK DIALECT. APART FROM BEING A DELIGHTFUL HOSTESS, WANKE IS AN EXCELLENT SINGER.

EVERY ELEMENT IS THOUGHT ABOUT IN ORDER TO INSURE THAT THE GUEST HAS AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE RIGHT DOWN TO THE MARVELOUS ELLA FITZGERALD, LOUIS ARMSTRONG AND BOBBY SHORT SOUND TRACK THAT FILLS IN WHEN WENKE AND ANNABELLE ARE NOT ON.

AFTER BEING WATERED, FED AND SUNG AND PLAYED TO, THE AUDIENCE IS USHERED INTO THE INTIMATE THEATER WHERE WARREN HOLDS COURT. EIGHT LUCKY VICTIMS ERRR GUESTS SIT AT A DESK AT THE FRONT WHERE WARREN INVOLVES THEM IN THE SHOW THROUGHOUT THE EVENING TO HILARIOUS EFFECT.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THE 21 OR OLDER RESTRICTION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT IN THE SHOW. UNLIKE MANY SO CALLED COMEDIANS WHO PLY THEIR HUMOR WITH VULGAR VOCABULARY AND SCATOLOGICAL REMARKS, THERE IS NOT ONE MOMENT IN THE ENTIRE EVENING THAT IS EVEN PG! THE AGE RESTRICITON IS DUE TO THE LIQUOR LAWS.

CLOSE UP TABLE TOP SLEIGHT OF HAND MAGIC REQUIRES THE GREATEST SKILL. EIGHT PEOPLE ARE LITERALLY ON THE STAGE WITH WARREN. IN ORDER TO SHOW THERE IS NOTHING UP HIS SLEEVE WARREN ROLLS THEM UP. THEN HE PROCEEDS TO DO TRICKS WITH CARDS, COINS, AND PULLS NOT ONE BUT TWO BOWLING BALLS FROM A HAT! AND WAIT TIL YOU SEE WHAT HE DOES WITH ONE OF THE GUEST’S HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL. YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT!

IT’S NON STOP LAUGHTER FROM START TO FINISH AND EVERYONE HAS A GREAT TIME. INCIDENTALLY, IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PHOTOS OR EVEN VIDEOS YOU ARE WELCOME TO DO SO THROUGHOUT THE SHOW! PRETTY MUCH UNHEARD OF IN THE SHOW BUSINESS WORLD.

FOR INFORMATION ABOUT UPCOMING SHOWS OR TO GET RESERVATIONS JUST GO TO WWW.MAUITVNEWS.COM AND CLICK ON THE LINK TO COMING ATTRACTIONS.

THAT’S CURTAIN CALL FOR THIS WEEK. I’M PAUL JANES-BROWN A HUI HOU AND GO SEE THE WONDERFUL ARRAY OF LIVE PERFORMERS ON THIS AMAZING PLACE WE CALL HOME. STAY TUNED FOR COMING ATTRACTIONS UP NEXT ON MAUITVNEWS.COM RIGHT AFTER THESE MESSAGES.
